Who's Using It

altitude house

Kinetic Performance has the experience and ability to develop and maintain world class altitude simulation systems, evidenced by the original altitude house environment at the Australian Institute of Sport, and its more recent altitude training environments for AFL football teams such as Collingwood and Carlton.

The original altitude house at the Australian Institute of Sport is an example of Kinetic Performance's commitment and technical innovation. This facility, developed by Kinetic Performance principals, Evan Lawton and Rob Shugg, has been successfully helping to prepare many of Australia's top athletes for the past several years. Kinetic recently completed a new 6 room research facility to replace the old AIS system.

The Collingwood Football Club's Altitude Training facility is a converted room that accommodates a number of athletes on exercise machines. This was commissioned in 2005 and has since assisted in the training and success of Collingwood Football team in recent seasons.

Carlton Football Club's Altitude Training facility is a purpose built room which accomodates up to 15 athletes. This was installed in June 2008. Read an article on its use-
