Planner - Week, Month and Timeline Updates

Two changes to the navigation of the Planner this month.

1. You are now able to directly Generate a Report or Export data from the Planner section. This way, if you are viewing your data at this level you don't need to go back into the finder.

2. By using the Previous and Next buttons on the week and Timeline view you are able to jump ahead to the next set of data. This removes the need to change the dates in the date field.

The screen shots indicate the location of the new buttons.

Change the default homepage

It is possible for a coach to select a different default homepage than the Dashboard. A coach can choose to change the homepage to the Athlete Status form, Anthropometry form, week/month calendar or any Form that they may have created.

A different homepage can be assigned by a coach entering an athletes properties and assign a homepage from a drop down list.

This is done by:

Select the athlete
Select the Information tab
Select the Edit button
- this will cause a new pop-up window to be displayed
Select the Default Homepage from the drop down menu
* If no Form has been created only Status, Anthropometry, Week View and month calendar View will appear as options to select
Select the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page

Now when the athlete logs in they will be directed to the page selected by the coach.

New Reports - Events by Athlete and Type

A coach has always been able to export Event data to excel, but this month sees the release of two new powerful automatic reports. The Event by Athlete report lists all Events for a chosen athlete over a specified date range - showing selected search parameters (such as Competition, Training, Injury, Illness etc.) or all events.

The report Events by Type generates a report which lists all athletes under Event headings.

Expanded Training and Competition Events

In the same way Injury and Illness can be categorised, Competition and Training now have further options. This enables a coach to search at a later date for more parameters surrounding a particular Event.

The following two features have also been added to all Events, whether created at the  Calendar level or at the Status Form:
All Notes fields can now be formatted as well.
If the default All Day check box is unselected, then the time can be set by clicking in the time field and selecting from the drop down list

Competition can now be classified in terms of Win, Loss, Draw and Place with fields for Score, Position and Time available.

Training can now be classified in terms of Skills, Conditioning, Strength, Speed and Flexibility. A coach/athlete is also able to enter an RPE score and this combined with the duration (minutes) automatically calculates an RPE Rating.

Planner - Timeline with Graphs

This new feature allows a coach to select 2 parameters to be displayed in a graph format below the Timeline view. This feature is hidden as a default. To access it, select the properties spanner on the Timeline page.

This allows a coach to view the trends of two selected parameters (E.g GymAware value and a perceptive value - Such as a muscle soreness question)

This option is not automatically displayed.

To display graphs below the timeline, click the properties spanner located in the top right hand corner.

The properties box will appear asking you to select the properties you wish to graph.
Save and then close the properties window.
The page should automatically refresh.
